What is a photo slate made from?
Genuine natural slate, real rock, not a print on board. The front and back are smooth while the edges are left rustic and water-cut, so every piece has its own natural character.
How is my photo printed onto it?
Your photo is applied using dye-sublimation, which bonds the image into a high-gloss finish. It is vivid, hard-wearing and completely waterproof, so it simply wipes clean.
What sizes do the slates come in?
A heart shape plus 15x15cm, 20x20cm, 14x19cm and 19.5x29cm, with prices from £16.99.
Do they stand up or hang on the wall?
They are freestanding, every slate comes with display feet, ready to stand on a shelf, worktop or desk. No drilling or wall fixings needed.
Can I add text as well as a photo?
Yes. Depending on the design you can combine photos with names, dates, quotes and custom touches like maps or spiral text. Single-photo and collage designs are available too.
How do I look after my slate?
Just wipe it with a dry, clean cloth if it gets dusty. No special care needed.
