Production & Dispatch
Made to order in our UK studio. We aim to dispatch most orders within 1 working day, and orders placed before 12pm usually go the same day.
Estimated delivery dates are shown on every product page and we keep them accurate. During busy seasons dispatch can take a little longer — the estimates on the page reflect that, so the dates you see are the dates to go by.
Delivery
Free Standard (UK) — 3–5 working days after dispatch.
Express (UK) — 1–2 working days after dispatch.

Tracking
Dispatch confirmation with tracking information is sent by email, usually between 2–6pm.
Our Guarantee
If we make a production error, we'll reprint and replace free of charge. Contact us within 14 days with a photo of the issue.
If something isn't right, get in touch within 30 days — we'll always find a fair solution.
Returns
As every item is made to order, we can't accept returns for change of mind. If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours.

By placing an order you confirm you have the right to use the images submitted. You're welcome to upload your own photos, artwork or designs.
For third-party images — photography, logos, branded artwork — please ensure you have permission. We print in good faith but reserve the right to pause orders where copyright concerns arise.

What resolution do photos need to be for a photo slate?
The higher the better — pictures straight from your camera roll are usually ideal. Bright, well-lit, full-size images print sharpest. Screenshots and heavily compressed downloads can look soft once printed, so use the original file where you have it.
Is a photo slate actually real slate?
Yes. Each one is cut from genuine natural slate, not a printed imitation — so no two are perfectly identical, and the stone's own texture and grain show through around your design.

It can — the surface is waterproof and fade-resistant, so it copes with damp and daylight. For the longest-lasting finish we'd still keep it out of direct, all-day sun and driving rain, the same care you'd give any printed keepsake.

Yes — every slate includes a stand, so it’s ready to display the moment it arrives, on a shelf, mantelpiece or desk. No wall-fixing needed.
Do personalised photo slates fade or peel?
Your design is printed directly onto the slate with a high-gloss finish, quality-checked here in our UK studio before it ships, so colour and detail hold up well over time.

What happens if there is a problem with my slate?
We put it right. If we make a production error, send us a photo within fourteen days and we will reprint and replace it free of charge. For anything else, get in touch within thirty days and we will find a fair solution.
Can you return a personalised photo slate?
Because each slate is made to order with your own photos, we are not able to resell it, so we do not take change-of-mind returns. Anything genuinely wrong we will fix — production errors are reprinted free, and damaged deliveries are covered within forty-eight hours.
